Maintenance & Testing

Fire protection equipment has to be tested and maintained on a schedule. We handle the servicing and the records so your building stays compliant and your systems actually work when they are needed.

Why maintenance matters more than installation

A system that was installed correctly ten years ago is not necessarily a system that works today. Detectors get dirty, batteries age, panels develop faults, extinguishers lose pressure, and buildings get modified in ways that leave devices in the wrong place. Routine testing is what catches all of that before it matters.

What a service visit covers

  • Testing detection devices and confirming they report correctly to the panel
  • Panel inspection, battery condition and fault clearing
  • Occupant warning and alarm device testing
  • Fire extinguisher inspection, servicing and tagging
  • Fire protection equipment checks
  • Written records of what was tested and what was found

Records you can produce on request

If someone asks to see your maintenance records, you should be able to produce them without a search. Every visit is documented, so there is a clear history of what was done and when.

Faults and repairs

When something is found during a service, we will tell you what it is, how urgent it is and what it costs to put right. Nothing gets replaced because it is easier than repairing it.

Setting up a schedule

If your building has never been on a proper schedule, or the last provider stopped turning up, call us on 03 5148 3400 and we will work out what your site needs.
